Emerging design trends

Goodbye to the Fold
Using characters large and bold led progressively to deviate from the ideal line theory (which the Americans call the Fold). In practice enough with the 'ability to gather all the content in the root zone of the browser and just with the phobia by scrolling. I also seen in the growing use of the wide margins and large spaces in general.

Functional Footer
Again maximum sharing: a functional footer is appreciated by users and now widely in use.

Resolution dependent layout
In this case are not entirely convinced a layout linked to the resolution involves some undoubted drawbacks, of course l 'sample (layout set at 800x600 and the third column following the resolution of the monitor) is a good step forward and comes from an approach shareable ... Say that I remain sceptical.

Right Column Navigation
While traditionally the navigation menu on the left of the page, well, just the growing importance of content tends to privilegiarli compared to the menu; little to say, insert the navigation (or sidebar) on the right is objectively the best way to give greater prominence content (which will be left, the area which remains the most "active" in a website).

Focus on content
This is the main rule, which allows original approaches (such as design composed of a 'single column). Certainly it is not always just focus solely on content and also depend greatly on the type of content, a link is different than an article, an 'image or video.
